Not what I expected

There is no rain, hubby is outside mowing on the riding mower.
I thought we were going to do business out of town. Guess that comes later.
Perhaps I should get the push mower and work in the more detailed area in the yard.
Or I may finish my Textbroker article.
Or peel the eggs I just hardboiled.
The dishes are already done, and so is all of the laundry.

At times it seems daily chores are all I can post about. Today is an even better day, we have a gentle rain falling.

Helped my mom with her breakfast. But other than that I don't really "get going" till 7 a.m. I've got vacuuming and kitchen cleaning to do today. I would love to see some rain here. We have nineties this week until Friday when things turn triple-digit. Thank goodness the a/c guy fixed us up with more freon. I have started getting paranoid about fire every single stinkin' summer. I want to go out and water the canyon myself, lol

. I had friends that lived near El Cajon when hubby was in the Navy. I know the fire fears. It is Wednesday, and has finally rained a little. The water levels are so low in the ponds and lakes we see. I got up at 6 and enjoy my quiet time while hubby is still in bed.
