My Ongoing Saga With Lowes

In a previous post I mentioned all the trouble I was having with Lowes and getting the stain for my deck. Twice they said it shipped and it wasn't and customer service gave me the run-around each time I called. Finally over the weekend I sent them an email telling them to cancel my order. I got an reply that said they would indeed cancel my order but it couldn't be done until Monday during business hours. I felt good knowing the order would be cancelled (or would it?)
Figuring I'd give it a day or two to see if customer service followed through the UPS guy showed up yesterday afternoon and delivered the stain.
I haven't notified them yet that I received delivery and am waiting to see where this goes.
Now I have to call my son in law and tell him that the stain is here and our plan is back on.
Anyway, that's my excitement for today
Yesterday was hot, sticky and humid and we had thunderstorm in the later part of the evening. Today it's hot but not as humid and I'm glad I don't have anywhere I need to be.

I'm not only hoping they don't charge me but I'll be watching carefully to make sure they don't double charge me

At least you did get the order in the finish.
We very often have to cancel orders as they will not deliver if they don´t want to.
They make 101 excuses even if you say you don´t want anything anymore.
Nothing exciting here really at the moment but it has been quite a good day.

Nothing like having to wait and wait for things that you ordered and they never seem to get there.
They ended up leaving our packets in a Gas Station somewhere a bit far off as well.
Good that you can get that deck painted at long last.

That is typical. Well at least you can set too now on your deck. I wonder if they will deliver another package too?

That's what I'm waiting to hear. I'll gladly pay but they should give me some sort of discount for all the trouble they caused

My fun is moving some stuff to get ready for my couch to come tomorrow. I might vacuum some more today. I clean the vacuum parts yesterday. I will read some more later. It was hot this morning when I got the mail.
