Strangest Job What is the strangest job you ever had?

So, since I have been working most of my life..I have had some odd jobs. The strangest one I had though was as a professional perp for a police resonse team. I was working for a temp agency once and they needed individuals to be restrained by the police so they could practice their techniques. This isn't something I would do today, but at the time maybe 30 years agoit sounded interesting. So, that was my job. I did not do much resisting and they did not do much subduing..everyone was on their best behavior. It was the funniest way I ever made money though. What can I say? It was a different time.

I needed more money and thought about a seasonal job. It was when I was working as a stock clerk and since they weren't giving me many hours, well I thought I would try being Miss Liberty. Ya know, The Statue Of Liberty?
I tried out at Liberty Tax. They said I had the job. I said I didn't want it anymore.
I came home and just did a little more mylotting combined with my other sites.
I think I would have liked to be a "dummy" for officers.

It was a novel way to make money. Being the Liberty Tax lady wouldn't be bad, as long as it wasn't cold.

@snowy22315 I went back into the store and the lady said "Go try again, you need to be more enthusiastic." I tried again and she was impressed. I realized it might be too taxing on me, especially since I would be sleeping odd hours. I worked nights at the grocery store and would be doing days at liberty tax.
It was a novel idea, but I didn't want to tax myself too much.

I had a working holiday visa for Australia. I was able to do casual work while I was there. While in Cairns in Queensland I worked as a charity collector dressed up in a koala suit. It was for the Rainforest Charity. The weather was really hot in my furry suit. One time I needed to go into a café to get some water to drink. It was hard to drink and my fur got wet.

That's hilarious! I haven't had any crazy jobs. They paid me for going to jury duty, but thankfully, after one day I was dismissed. It's funny: I could have gotten out of It for medical reasons, but I was really curious as to what it was like.

@snowy22315 If my back hadn't hurt so much in the wood chairs I think I would have enjoyed it. But with my back, at the end of the say, I was in too much pain.

@AmbiePam oh that's too bad. I usually get kicked off the jury but one time I was on a case and they settled right beforehand delibersted. We were all talking in the elevator on the way down how we would have voted.

I guess the only unusual job I had was in high school. I worked for a small local company in Hawaii stuffing pattern pieces for Hawaiian clothing into paper packages.

I was a paid escort at one time. It isn't something I'd put on my resume though.
