Szechuan Sauce is like a drug for these people

Back in 1998 when Disney is promoting the movie Mulan, Walt Disney made a partnership with Mcdonald's and they have Szechuan sauce as a dip option for chicken nuggets. People back then said it is really delicious.
When Mcdonald's decided to bring this sauce for just one day. A huge Riot happened in some Mcdonald's branches.
So what does this sauce tasted like that people are rioting just to have it. Is it really that delicious?

from what i know about this sauce, it is from Sichuan China.i don't think it's for the traditional version though

This tells me that people are just so stupid at times. Kids are starving all over the world and they are fighting over a sauce.

There is now a black market on craig's list. People are buying this sauce for 100 dollars per sachet! Despite of all the DIY recipe tutorials on Youtube that exists.

Some people are even selling the sauce online for hundreds of dollars despite of the fact the recipe is so easy.
