Doc appointment this morning

Eugene, Oregon
June 20, 2018 9:46am CST
After playing at some length in the back yard with my daughter's Chihuahua (who thinks the world of me ) on Sunday, I woke up on Monday with a knot on the back of my left heel that made it uncomfortable to have my foot against even the sheet. When I got up, I limped into the kitchen, took some Tylenol and got some ice ready to apply to the knot. Needless to say, I did not play ping pong on Monday, but limped through the day with more ice applied. Anne had some topical aspirin like stuff I used too. I made an appointment to see my doctor for today. I am not limping now, but that knot is still there and it is very tender to touch, so I want to find out what the knot is about. It is in the area of my Achilles tendon, so it is nothing to fool around with. Today is a ping pong day too, and I really hate to miss it!

James, go to see your doctor, do not play ping pong and try to keep your foot at rest.

@JamesHxstatic It is better, it could be a tendonitis, better to know his opinion soon.

@LadyDuck The bump on my heel is called a "pump bump," nothing serious, but he gave me some stretches and said that it can be caused by shoes rubbing. I am sure that I have none that do that and change shoes daily.

I hope that the doc will find out for sure what it is and has something for you to help out.

It hurt a bit when he examined it, but really feels pretty good now. Called it a "pump bump" and may be caused by shoe rubbing against heel. I don't think I have any shoes that do that, but will have to check it out.

@JamesHxstatic James I am so so sorry. I hope you doctor can help you relieve the pain from the knee.,The dig looks so cute in the picture in his bed. My Sophie has a round bed like that and I put blankets in it so she lies on the blankets when she sleeps there.
