Tired and Hungry

Hello everyone. I just want to update you from my hubby's birthday celebration last night. Everything is done except for the caramel icing for the cake when the electricity went down. Again, because of the heavy rain, a sudden loud thug sound and the power went off. Though there is no power, I still continue the caramel icing with the idea that my husband can get home anytime soon so everything should be in order. Normally, he comes home between 7-8 at night. But because of the heavy rains that caused traffic, he arrived at 9:00PM. Boy, I am so hungry and so was he. So there were no pictures, no other preparations but to just eat dinner. I was tired for all the preparations and hungry because I have to wait for him. He was tired from the long journey and traffic and hungry because of the traffic. All in all, he was happy and I am happy with the outcome. After cleaning up we head straight to the bed to sleep.

That's what June celebrants have to face when it comes to birthday celebration. Heavy rain or even a typhoon. I should know cause mine is next week. I'm not planning anything cause I know the weather will ruin it.

To think that there are a lot of hungry People certainly makes one appreciate when food enters the belly. That's why I'm continuing to prayer that there will be relief from hunger.

I'm glad he got home safe in the rain and I hope your power came back on by now. I'm glad he enjoyed the cake and birthday celebration.

bad brownout. sometimes power interruption disrupts a good even like the birthday celebration or food preparation for your husband. happy belated birthday to your husband

Very nice. Can't let the weather rain on our parade or in this case party.
