First thing we woke up late so we had to rush to get to my daughters chiropractor appointment. I thought it was at 11 am but at 10:45 when I was only half way there I realized the appointment was at 10:45 . We arrived about 10 minutes late and they were fine with it especially because the equipment wasn't working right so we had to wait on them anyway. We stopped at the library nearby and it wasn't open until 2pm . We stopped at a park and a guardrail and I found two geocaches before heading home so that was fun at least . Once home I did a load of laundry and during the rinse cycle it stopped draining and made a weird noise. I took the clothes out rinsed them in the tub squeezed them out the best I could and put them in the dryer. Hours later they are finally dry. I took the washer apart and the water flooded the kitchen floor so we used every towel in the house as well as some dish towels to soak up all the water. I found the source of the problem which was a handkerchief stuck in the drain hose. So after I put everything back together I washed half the towels to test it out. It worked and now tomorrow I have to do all the rest of the laundry . The plans I had for tonight and tomorrow got cancelled so that gives me more free time! I was spending time with little bird who was behaving for once and is still here because the first owner hasn't gotten back to me yet . My daughter came up crying that I needed to text her friend's mother. Her friend attempted suicide by cutting her wrists. Then her mother called me and feels it's mostly just for attention because she's going through a really tough time right now with personal things. I know how serious my depression was at that age and my mother didn't believe it either. She just thought it's something everyone goes through and I'd outgrow it. So I am worried about this girl but hopefully her mother knows her best and will make sure she is okay. The final straw tonight is I finally came up with an idea for a name change here and for some reason it won't let me change it It's time for bed so enough of this crappy day lol

You can change your name here, but not your username, once it is decided it is forever. A lot of wrong things happened to you, let's hope that the bad series ends now.

@LadyDuck yep I know that my name after the @ has to stay but when I tried last night and today to change the name before the @ it isn't letting me. I just sent a message off to goaskalex.

@shaggin This is weird, I know that I changed my name and I have seen many users doing the same. I wonder if the problems come from the fact that your name and username are identical.

Hi Shaggin. I am sorry for your daughter’s friend. I hope she is fine. Series of unfortunate events but still find it amusing. There is always something to smile about at the end of the day.

@mlgen1037 one of the geocaches I couldn't find the last time I searched for it but today I found it right off the bat so that was an excellent point of the day for me

@mlgen1037 when we had gone to bed near midnight my daughter had not heard from her. I think the mother took her phone from her. Also the girl could be mad at my daughter.

@Shellyann36 I ask her about her friend often and she seems okay but I think it's hard with the mom lecturing her instead of being understanding. Now she can't talk to her friends about how she feels because her mom watches her phone and will ground her. Pretty sad for the girl I think.

@Shellyann36 I think with the access to the garage online if someone wants to kill themselves they can find a way to do pretty easily. It was not so easy when I was young thankfully.

@caopaopao yesterday was not very good but today has been better. I got three loads of laundry done and had some spare time to read. I have a nagging headache the past few days so I had to relax more today.

Some days it's best to do a little as possible I think so that as little as possible can go wrong! Hope tomorrow is better.

@shaggin it's definitely different for everyone. Some therapy works others it dont. It worked for me the first 1-2 years after I lost my daughter. But not since. Definitely not something to shrug off. She needs to at least try meds. Wont know if they'll work unless she does. And maybe, being on them will be whats best for her.

@Courtlynn now she can't even talk to my daughter about how she feels because of her mom watching her phone texts and messages. That's not good for the girl to have no one to talk to now

You should consult with the admin, maybe they might help you. Nothing wrong with your name in my opinion.

@Letranknight2015 the name is one I used on all sites over the years and to remain more anonymous here from those who may know me I've been wanting to change my name for a few months. It's still not working today.

Good on ya for figuring out the washer's issue. You are tough! That's scary about the girl trying to kill herself. I'd think that her Mother would be right on the situation. Anyway, here's some hugs for you.

I'm glad you didn't change your username, because I wouldn't recognize you. Besides, it can't be changed on here. Let's hope that's the end of bad things for a long time. And I can't believe you knew how to take apart your washing machine!!!! My birthday was June 20, the day you made this discussion.

@DianneN I watched the repairmen for so many years fix my machines I figured I could do it too. I actually took the whole back off before even realizing I didn't need to do any of that. I just had to get the hose off the back and the handkerchief came right out as well as the flood of water lol

@andriaperry my daughters friend moved so my daughter can only interact with her over Instagram. She sent my daughter pictures of her wrists so to me that shows she needs to see a therapist.
