I feel a bit nervous about the test as one of my teacher told me that the examer prefered uncommon words which I have no idea. And this morning, I glanced at an english book of my six-years-old daughter, found there were some words I never touched before, like igloo, peacock, flute. Oh, I think I find a new way of my learning now. I can learn from her book. That's awesome!

I think I already get it somehow, one big issue for me would be the uncommon words which might be common for you guys. :)

that is a good idea. One tip i read is that to learn 5 words daily and use them in a sentence. You can also read novels, and if you find something hard, you can look it up in a dictionary

It's easier now to learn through online. You can install dictionary too and try looking at words you don't know. I do that to unfamiliar words. And even to familiar words too, just to refresh my mind to the word. If you have internet on phone then it is really a big help.

Thank you. I'm here to understand others out of the box, learning the language itself would be a good side effect on on this.

@siao441 You need to put them into practice. What do you mean by accumulation?

@Shavkat , so I mean word by word, in a long turn. when I get one new word for me, I write it down, look up the dictionary, and try to add that to my own word bank, which will lead to using them in real life.(practice)

Keep reading and finding the meaning of the words in your own language. The more you work at it, the better you will become.

Those words are definitely not common words so it is quite impressive that you are learning at this level.

You can definitely learn it from the internet. You can learn from her book also. Sometimes we come across words which we are not familiar with. So you can check it out from the english book. Also you can check it in the dictionary.

Thanks, her book is from an agency, should be no problems, it only contains a few new words which appear really rare to me.
