This is good for remembering words. You can also let your son watch more original foreign movies, especially cartoons, with double subtitles. It is good for English study and it will be very interesting.

I am teaching my grand children French. Surprisingly they are picking it up quite well. I would continue to do that but make it interesting and have fun, Children are like sponges and absorb everything they see, hear, smell and touch.

One good role model for your child to learn how to read is the PBS Kids series "Wordgirl" which is a parody of Superman and Batman.
