If all the references to a particular area of your research project, be it personal or professional or academic, are from unreliable sources then, your project will be a failure at the very get go. My sources are usually from the following for whatever I write about, on all levels: 1. Wikipedia.org 2. Library of Congress 3. Alta Vista 4. bizjournals.com 5. YouTube 6. Google search engine 7. World Atlas But, not all sources are as accurate. Here is a comprehensive list of online sources for facts that will help you in your search for answers to your questions. Yahoo! Answers 'answers.yahoo.com' MIT News ' Marriam-Webster.com 'https://www.merriam-webster.com/words-at-play/new-words-in-the-dictionary-march-2018' Space.com 'https://www.space.com/' World Almanac 'http://www.worldalmanac.com/world-almanac.aspx' NOAA - National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration 'http://www.noaa.gov/' USGS - United States Geological Survey - 'https://www.usgs.gov/' missingkids.com aka National Center for Missing and Exploited Children - 'http://www.missingkids.com/home' Save The Earth - 'http://www.savetheearth.org/' National Crime Prevention Council - aka NCPC - 'https://www.ncpc.org/news/press-releases/take-a-bite-out-of-crime/' American Ethical Union - 'https://aeu.org/who-we-are/member-societies/' ted talks - 'https://www.ted.com/playlists/171/the_most_popular_talks_of_all?gclid=CjwKCAjwma3ZBRBwEiwA-CsblDUMLHS2CYSJ9FMVV1oySyYVzh8Xag9xFQiQFmALkq4UxJ1MFm_AIBoCL5IQAvD_BwE' World Atlas.com - 'https://www.worldatlas.com/aatlas/world.htm' And more later when I have time to add to my next list

Wikipedia is not a credible source of reference. None of the writing sites I have been on allowed references from Wikipedia. Anyone can edit and change it and not all edits are ethical or correct. People find it an easy way to change history. Blogs are also unreliable references. Some might be carefully researched while others are just the author's opinion with no expert advice or facts to back them up. I have found Yahoo answers lacking. I used to read them for amusement. There are also a lot of really bad youtube videos.

@lookatdesktop There are a lot of bad articles around because they are not backed up by relevant search information. Your articles are only as good as your research sources.

@akalinus Wikipedia always needs to be taken with a grain of salt, but for the most part for what they do is quite accurate and like how they usually give warnings if they not even sure if the info is accurate and always please add something if you know different. Not bad for right wing owners and I do not trust much of anything the right says these days.

This is a neat post thank you. Yeah, even if their reputation is a cut above the rest I always check another source. Why Trump calling CNN and what not fake news is quite laughable. They have a code where they have to check two or three sources before they can report as fact. They still do not get right all the time, but most times that philosophy works and funny people believe him when he just spout things off the top of his head in a hateful way.

@lookatdesktop Haha, yeah did that yesterday. Still am like tender boxes and you honestly did not see a problem. No moral compass if when that happens. These people are off.
