I have not been here yet this morning. I have not gotten a lot done or taken any more selfies. I have mowed a little bit, so the plumber can come look at the situation here. My house has two water meters, two gas meters. I am having a plumber cap them off and then I can have the extra ones taken out. He was a very nice young man. Hubby is having a tire fixed on the trailer so he can take it and empty it. Across the road there are people bringing in grain and spreading it, as I saw them do last year. Princess does not like all the strange activity. Mike the plumber is an animal lover. He is waiting to pick up his dog from the vet. She had a two pound tumor removed yesterday So much for my educational day. I will talk some more later, I am sure.

Princess is my cat. She was upset to have someone in her yard and then big trucks across the street.

@GardenGerty Apologies, Heather. She is territorial. She is not happy. But no more big trucks now?

@mlgen1037 The people working on drying grain across the road still are here with trucks. She wants to know what is happening.

What I learned when asking others is that they spread it and stir it up and dry it.

I am sure that was a very scary situation for him, taking his dog to the vet for her to have surgery . I love animals as well but can't have the four legged kind here. We've discussed getting a bird but I'm not so sure yet whether we will or not. They require lots of training.

@GardenGerty Agreed. They also deserve a good place to live and play. That's why the four legged ones wouldn't work here. There are a lot of collections (valuables) here.

You have been busy. I wonder why there were two meters for gas and water there.

This house used to be a duplex. I had the electrical done up when we first moved in. I have not been able to get a plumber to come out from my town or the next one over. I pretty much had given up.

@HazySue More than once in my lifetime plumbers have told me that they were too busy.

Interesting the people we meet in life. Their stories can be both enlightening and strange. But it puts our own lives into some perspective.

Some people are friendly and easy to have around. I learned a lot from him. I think he basically likes his work.
