My mom requested for Pinakbet as our lunch with fried fish. Pinakbet is consist of pumpkin, snake cord, eggplant, okra, garlic, onion, tomato, bitter cord, shrimp paste and squid. You just need to bring everything to boil. With some water, and pepper to taste.

I think meat varies, one can used pork also.

In tagalog it is called sitaw. But the english name of that veggies is snake cord.

i didn't know you can use fresh squid in pinakbet. we usually use pork.

We have been eating pork 2 days in a row. That is why we decided ti out squid for not. It supposed to be shrimp but I feel like eating the shrimp in garlic and butter sauce.
