It worked! *sigh of relief*

So, yesterday, I finally changed the computer's battery, and today is the moment of truth. I'm happy to say it worked! Yay!!! I was confident at first that all will be well, but became a little nervous when someone asked what was wrong with the computer and I started spelling out the details. I realized there might be something else wrong other than the battery, like for example, a problem with the power supply. If that's the case and there is still a problem, then I'm sure it'll cost me more than P30 (the price of the battery, P60 for a pack of 2) to both have the computer finally brought to a repair shop, and to buy a new power supply if it needs replacing. Topic question: Has this happened to you? When you feel good and confident about something, but then when you spell out the details, that's when you see the little problems and you start to get worried? And so today, I was either holding my breath or pacing up and down while the computer started up... ... ... and stayed on. It didn't shut down on its own a few minutes after start up like it did last time. I guess the change of battery did the job. And the vacuuming probably helped as well. And so now, I'm back on the phone. Lol! Why am I not on the computer? Well, that's a topic for another day. But at least now, I know that the computer is working properly and if I need to do something that I can't do on the phone, then the computer is just one switch away. Ehm... something like that.

Hi Moirai. That is great to hear. I think I do remember feeling that way but I do not remember what it was all about. hehe

Thank you! :) Well, not really. :P Because I already asked my father and he showed me already before I saw the video that would have helped. Haha. :D But that's ok. They say experience is the greatest teacher so maybe now I will remember it more for next time because I did it myself instead of just watching someone else do it. :)
