I hate cleaning. I've gotten spoiled over the past few years because we've had a cleaning lady come in every other week or so to do most of the cleaning in the house. All I've had to do is deal with the bird room and the basic wiping down of the counters, the dishes, and that kind of stuff. Due to The Painting Project That Just Won't End, however, I haven't had her come in over a month though, so things were really starting to get funky. It was time to take things into my own hands. So, I've spent the morning cleaning the kitchen and the bathroom. I scrubbed the stove top, the counters, the kitchen floor, the bathroom sink, the toilet, and the bathroom floor. The only thing I didn't do was the tub. I'll deal with that later or tomorrow. It wasn't as awful as I expected it to be but I still will happily pay someone to do this stuff for me.
