Where did you know about MyLot?

I was with B for how many years. I stop posting on that when they stop paying some of the members. They owe me a lot but I think they face a financial crisis due to lack of intensive plans. I felt sad about it because that site has been by crying shoulders.
Then one day. A friend of mine introduced me to MyLot. At first, I was so hesitant to sign up because I have a lot of what if's. Like, what if they consider a good grammar and a good writer. But then I tried. I introduced myself by telling them I'm a newbie. A lot of members welcomed me and I feel at home already. And I started posting 5 discussions every day because I wanted to earn. I didn't quite know the strategy yet because I was eager to earn. I always think about earning.
Until I learned from some members that it's not the 5 post every day that is more relevant to earn. It's the interaction you are making. Since then I tried to be a conversationalist as much as possible. But there are days that I only have few readers and that makes me sad, maybe because they found me boring.
Until I find ways how to interact more. I followed those who are very known here, I comment to their post, the sad thing is they didn't return the favor which is to comment as well to my post. But then I moved on and keep doing what I think for me is better. Until I found my virtual friends.
Since then I'm open to all the members here about my situation.
They accepted me.
I am thankful to MyLot a lot because they gave me a new home.
And to meet wonderful people here, which I called them my friends.

You mean Mylot? Was it already established before Bubblews?

The main motivation that works well for many is just having fun and focusing more on learning new things because that is in fact the biggest payoff I see.

Yes, they only pay those who live in the US, especially near their head quarters.

I joined myLot 10 years ago. I don't remember how I found it, but I guess I found the name in a blog about online money making. At that time I read many of those blogs. Later I joined Bubblews and I was an active member there. In 2015 I returned to myLot.

@JustBhem I received some of my payments from Bubblews but not all of them. Even if I didn't get every payment I earned quite a lot. I had fun there, but it is really nice to be back on myLot. When I joined myLot I didn't imagine that I would still be here 10 years later, but it is still my favourite writing site.

I think you don't have to be afraid to mention the full name of the B site! The whole bubblews disaster was an experience I could have done without.
I hope Arvind and his mates have been bitten by sharks while spending our money somewhere on a Caribbean island. :-)

Oh' you are with Bubblews as well, For sure you are making a lot of money there.
Yes, I remember it was Arvind the CEO of the said site. It was going on smoothly until they come up with some issue. Then they stop paying in some country like Asia. They focus on paying members in the US.

it was my lady @SIMPLYD who encouraged me to register to this site. i have always disagreed with her advice because 'i thought bubblews won't throw us out'. alas, that site closed.
from fanbox to bubblews to this site. i hope this will be the last one.

@JustBhem virtually. i was in bubblews as one of the oldest, because my username was 2160. i do not recall if SIMPLYD was ahead or after me. she introduced me to this site but i begged off because i was a loyal bubbler.
we are virtual friends only.

I'm glad you finally feel at home here. I've been on myLot since before they stopped paying for a bit under an ownership change. I'm glad the original owners have control again now and have made myLot even better than at first. I love that myLot doesn't demand perfect English from its members. Many people who have important things to share aren't yet fluent in their English. What better way to learn than to have a place to talk to people in English!
Like many here, I used to belong to another site, Gather, that is no longer open to us. My Gather friends told me about myLot, and I've always loved the natural way we can have threaded discussions here about what's on our minds. WE can write the way we talk, with no word counts or minimum comment length. As in any other group, the longer you are here and the more discussions you participate in, the more friends you will make.

Wow. Another ancient here in myLot, nice meeting you.
Yes, I feel comfortable being here, it's like my online Diary where I can share my days and my moments without someone degrading you because of you wrong grammar or how bad your English is.
Thankful that I never encounter anything bad here except for the downtime.
But all is well.
