Mommy Fixes Everything!

So, of course, I am the cat's mommy. Today, he was out in the kitchen and I kept hearing some soft little meows. He is a quiet fellow and meow's rarely. There has to be a serious problem for him to voice an opinion..anyway, I went out to the kitchen once, and did not see what he was meowing about..but then he kept "talking" so I went out again..I realized what the issue was,,,he likes to hide away atop the kitchen cabinets. Roomie had done dishes and had stacked them on the counter which was Milo's "launch pad" to the upper cabinets. I had to move the dishes and mop up the water..then Milo was happy and had his launch pad back. I noticed he had tried to take matters into his own hands by opening the lowering cabinet doors and trying to lanuch himslef from there..sadly, it didn't work. Mommy fixes everything!

Yeah, I like him. I find his presence very calming. I am sure the reverse is true as well.

@caopaopao yep..cats are what we refer to hear as "the bomb." They are a bit like children if you raise them right they are a comfort to you.

Such a cute cat! I sometimes wonder how we pet owners understand them. My rabbit has it's own way if she wants to have milk.

it's so cute how he tried to find a way first before finally speaking up.
so he prefers to hide atop the kitchen cabinets? does he also have favorite places below like under furniture?

He likes the dining room chairs beneath the table and cloth. Alot of cats like that area.

@snowy22315 true. you pull out a chair and it's kinda heavy because a cat's sleeping on it. it's a dark, cool and quiet area.

@snowy22315 He is lucky to have you and vice versa.
I have no pets here. When I go visit a friend, she has two cats and three dogs. One of her dogs will sleep right under me, so that I can stretch my arm out and pet him during the night. Of course that is his favorite place to lay regardless.
One of her cats will lay on me. The last time I was there I used my own blankets and she (the cat) wasn't too impressed with them I don't think. Though we left and came back later and there she wasy laying on my blanket, so she must have liked it after all.

@YrNemo One thing he did do though, was when I was on a trip..he knocked off the top of the ceramic pet food cookie jar..reached in, took out the cat snacks, opened and devoured them all.
