Forced Sleep

Hello everyone.
I was not able to come yesterday noon until night here and this morning. We went out yesterday to a mall to buy some school supplies for the kids and of course we allow them to play in the arcade for an hour or so. We got caught in the traffic because it was raining and when we got home I have to start ironing clothes. I ironed the clothes for three and a half hours, I wanted to finish all of them but I still have 1 hamper left. I leave it at that. Bedtime came and as I fell tired I thought I will be the first one to sleep but of course I was the last one to sleep at 3:00AM and my son woke me up at 6:30AM.
3 hours of sleep is not good for me. My body needed more than 5 hours to be working properly. As expected after a few hours, I started sneezing so after we ate breakfast I forced myself to sleep. Because if not, I will be sick the whole day and that I do not want. Now I feel a bit better after that forced sleep.
Have you ever force yourself to sleep?
I hope you have a nice Sunday!

@rakski i hope your sleep pattern is not altered when you are tired. perhaps a glass of warm milk will siffice? but i don't know if you have lactose-intolerance. i guess i have to re-read my discussion about 'drinking milk'.

Perhaps there are clothes that need not be ironed like T-shirts or those clothes that are just worn in the house. I guess you iron your clothes once a week so that would surely be a gigantic pile. Why not try ironing twice in a week?

@sunrisefan yes, your honor. I admit my fault. But it is not my fault not to be able to sleep early. I am in bed at 10:30PM tired and ready to sleep. But sleep won't come. So it is sleep's fault your honor.

@chicnthin oh I see. Maybe you could have a load for surfing so when you have free time and your aunt is not there you can still mylot. I usually do that when I have to pick up my son from school.

I am glad you were able to get some sleep I take a bendaryl allergy pill when I need to sleep but can not do so. It makes me go to sleep. I don't do it often though.

Yes! Most of the time, really. Recently, I sleep at 4:00 am and wake up late noon. This is really unhealthy but I really can't sleep. I am planning to tire myself so I could sleep earlier for the next days.

It's really hard to function if you are lacking sleep. Good thing you were able to force yourself to sleep.

i know some people wake up sneezing due to allergies, etc, but i've never known anyone who sneezed because they lack sleep. i also need at least 6 hrs.
