A great gentle man once said to me that if you want to forget the bad memories in your life then forgive those who brought those moments in your life. I have tried it myself and it does a lot of difference in your life, just forgive, forget and move on in life. What Say? Image Credit:- Pixabay.

That is the best thing dear friend! By holding grudges agaist any one we are boiling our blood and keeping our hormones imbalanced, where as the concerned person hardly knows about this! So believe in forgiving and practice it genuinely to see the positive results in your life! Thanks!

I always forgive but tough to forget. In fact, better to remember the good and the bad and take them as part of life - siva

It's good to know that it has good effects in you. I would just like to say that in my opinion, it's very impossible to forget something just because you chose to forgive. Just for me, it's more like forgiving makes you feel a lot more better for freeing yourself from the pain of what happened. It's like you chose to get out of a cage created by someone/something than to sit there.

That's the main objective is freeing from the dungeon we have caged all those memories in, something that had happened and there just nothing we can do about it but just keep on torturing ourselves, Karen and forgiving is just the key to let go of those memories for good.
