My grandpa's grave still has no headstone

It's been about two and a half years since my grandpa passed away and my dad still didn't order a headstone for the grave.
At first he didn't do it because he couldn't find a suitable picture of grandpa. Eventually he found one but he still didn't order a headstone.
I wonder why he is not doing it. That is just wrong on so many levels.
And it's not like he can't afford one. So what gives?
Every time I think about grandpa's grave without a headstone I want to cry. It's so sad that so much time has passed and he still doesn't have one.

Hi Lena. I would feel the same way too. But like @simplfred, why not ask him why it is taking him so long to put a headstone.

@mlgen1037 Maybe he forgot about it. I hope I will be able to speak soon because this is crazy that grandpa is still without a headstone after all this time.

@lovebuglena I understand. Maybe he has his reasons. I guess there is a perfect time to ask your father.
