I'm feeling the need to promote one of my YouTube videos

As many of you know, I play in several bands here in the San Francisco Bay Area. But I find myself getting frustrated sometimes. There always seems to be a leader who is a tad too controlling. Or a "tragic flaw" that we can't seem to overcome.
With the help of MyLot's own Vanny and DJ, I've posted something like eight videos to YouTube, six of me playing all the parts, and two of the Diablo Rhythm Wranglers, the band I just quit.
I tend to do sad songs, and one of the saddest (Last Train from Poor Valley) is about coal miners, written by Norman Blake. My take on Townes Van Zandt's Pancho and Lefty has over 4000 views, and one of my originals (Moth Song), has over 3000, but Last Train...is kind of tarrying.
If you could check it out and give it some love, I'd appreciate it. I don't make any money from these videos, but it always warms my heart when I get a "like" or a new comment. I'll attach a link, and hope that some of you give Blake's Last Train from Poor Valley some love.
My next plan is to record some John Prine songs. He was my favorite American songwriters from my late childhood days.

I mentioned that you did an excellent job on pulling the emotions out of this song.

That seems to the fallout of many bands. There's just a lot of talent all around and I think sometimes those creative differences, egos, and other things just clash. For good or for bad. At the end of the day all you can do is find your own place in all of that. By the way, glad I found this. Fantastic song and fantastic job to boot. Never heard of Noran Blake, but might have to do some digging now.

Thanks, Jim. I'm trying to figure it all out. Some band leaders have a a high "need for control," but they often far from the best musicians in the band. That means that they're easily "threatened."
I'm not sure how to describe Normal Blake. Alt-country? Americana? Folk?

@TheHorse How about good. I think, based on this song, that would be a good summation. There is still a place for folk music in this world, and I would definitely put this song in that category.
BTW, check out Presonus Studio One for a home recording setup. Affordable and works fairly well. I had a much better setup before as I used Sonic Foundry Acid Pro for recording. I think you might have fun playing around and laying down some tracks and doing some home recording. Money well spent, sir. You can get set up for under $300.

@TheHorse *smiling at you* I hope you've been having a good week, pony.
Uhhh... you haven't been arrested for anything lately, have you? (I was just thinking it's been a long time since we had to kick in to bond you out. )
