Its my Heart-aversary!

One year ago today I was given a second chance at life. Since my open heart surgery I have never felt better. Life is good and I am truly blessed. Sometimes I find it hard to look back and think of all that I went through. At the time I didn't know how I would get through it. It was all worth it though to feel as good as I do today.

Congratulations, and happy 1 year!
I remember that time so well.
My heart (excuse the pun) really went out to you as the doctors and nurses didn't communicate the best with you as to when you'd have your surgery. It was difficult to read how scared and sick you were. I'm SO glad that you're thru that and feeling so much better.

I am glad that you are doing well since one year that you had your open heart surgery.
My father-in=law also had his double bypass operation for his heart. That was about 20 years ago.
Technology has made surgeries, easier now to the doctors as well as the patients.

Yes it really has. My cousin had it done about 20 years ago and it was a much different procedure and not as common as it is today.

Thanks..yes it is an amazing feeling. Before I had the surgery I didn't think I would make it very long.
