I feel like this is my safe place to write about my thoughts or vent if I am having a bad day as I am sure most of you feel the same. Like a human diary almost. One of my posts got me thinking though: Have you ever wondered if someone you know in real life is on here and knows it's you posting on whatever you are writing about? Ever vented about someone or a certain situation on here and wondered if someone is watching you?
I have not actually referred anyone to this site since I don't know very many writers honestly, but it kind of got me wondering if someone I know is on here as well. I don't use my real first and last name on here so I am not overly worried, but I do wonder sometimes if anyone I know weather it be family or work is lurking on here.

I am anonymous too because I had bent out my secrets and dirty laundry on this site. It is something I can't do on Facebook.

@DanieGirl80587 My sister got fired from her job after venting out how much her boss sucks on facebook. She forgot that her boss is her facebook friend.

@CaptAlbertWhisker I am not friends with my boss on FB, but I am with other employees and people talk. So no I don't air out my dirty laundry, especially work on FB.

I used to get bent out of shape on FB. Learned the hard way NOT to do that lol. I have become very conscious about how much I open on there. Here, when I do have the time and can just sit and relax, I open up a bit more. :-)

But I see your face.....There is a software known as face recognition and hackers use that to discover someone's identity.

My family reads all I post here on Mylot. I post every publication on facebook and there anyone who knows me can read all I post on Mylot.

My family, friends and job can be a bit...judgmental on certain things I have to say or think about, so no I do not post what I post here on my FB.

Good to know you can be honest everywhere.
I do not want to be so open on FB and get judged harshly, so I like being able to open up here in my safe comfort zone.

I agree on making friends here. Most people are really nice in this community. Nothing wrong with just wondering if you know anyone for real on here though.

That's how I feel as well. I am just not sure how well known this site is to be honest.
