The last time Broome County had a heat advisory go out was back in 2012. In fact, it's not that common. But in rare conditions like this, an advisory goes out when there is a need to make the public aware of health concern issues. Temperature's this weekend could get up to 110 F in some parts of #NewYork. The public has been cautioned about outside activities, as well as knowing the signs of heat exhaustion which can be dizziness, nausea to the signs of heat stroke which can cause a head, temperature over 103 F, and even one to claspe. While today has started out like any other morning with a cool breeze and hazing mountainside. The public has also been made aware of the fact temperature's are not expected to cool down overnight. In fact, it's going to be downright hot and mugging late into the night. What are some ways you keep cool in the heat?

Camp under the ac and not go out. One can go to an inside mall and hang out for awhile especially with a movie theater and food court.

I second that. I know some people that spend a lot of time inside some mall when it's hot outside

We are having the same kind of dangerous heat wave. I usually stay inside with the air condition on. I am so grateful for that.

I can't stand the heat. I mostly stay in, if it's too hot to be out. Due to my current circumstances, I'm not as mobile as I'd like in good or bad weather conditions. check out my today's post below

We are also having very high temperatures. I will be going out in a few minutes and I will wear my straw hat to prevent my head from getting too hot. I will also try to stay in shady spots. Keep cool!

It's good to avoid any outside activity when it's that hot. Stay inside, use the AC if available and drink water, not soda! Plus, it's better if the water is at room temperature, cold or icy drinks will help for the moment, but you'll feel the heat even worse after a while
