Well, I'm still waiting ..... for more rain that is

I had high hopes that we'd get more rain today but all we have are clouds. And they look like they have rain in them, surely it isn't raining and simply evaporating before it hits the ground, right? Oh well, I guess I'll look for Boobears feathertoy, she sure did like playing with it. Sorry this shot is fuzzy but she was bouncing around a lot when I was trying to get pictures of her.

The rain we got over night wasn't enough to be recorded. We can use it too. We're supposed to get more rain this afternoon and tomorrow. We'll see.

I hope you get the rain @just4him and hopefully I'll see more clouds here soon but with the triple digits hitting us again they probably won't produce much moisture.

Yes, already @marlina the sun is so intense around here that evaporation puts a damper on keeping plants not intended for drought areas from drying out, clouds don't stand a chance unless they come in really heavy and that is a rare occurrence.

Our kitties love that feather toy, especially Kuma. There will be no rain for us for at least 9 days. Bye bye green lawn.

@rebelann Nah, we got a tropical storm off the coast but it does not seem to be headed inland at all. I don't think we will get any rain from it. The ground has dried up and no flooded areas.

That is a good question. I think a lot of cats just love to chase anything small that moves fast, one of mom's loves to chase paper wads if I throw them for her.
