Ok, down to our final 2 letters of the alpahabet which uses girl names in the title. This one should be easy as I only have one song fitting that category. Here are your clues: 1. The artist of this band wrote this song about his marriage and his run-ins with various international authorities. Being so famous has it's drawbacks as the singer expressed in his lyrics claiming It ain't easy ,you know how hard it can be. This song was the band's 17th and final #1 UK hit. The artist and his wife were protesters of the Vietnam War, and after marrying, invited the press to their hotel room to witness a "bed-in" for peace. Do you know the song and name of this fab quartet? Bonus Edition- Favorite Y-named bands: Do You Know These Artists/Bands? 2. This progressive English 70's rock band had a unique musical style. The lead guitarist was an original member of the popular group "Asia." Their first album was self-titled and featured the hit, "I've Seen All Good People." 3. One of the lesser known British Invasion bands, This band produced three of the greatest guitarists of all time. Their heavy guitar sound and experimental approach was a huge influence on Cream and Led Zeppelin. 4. This Canadian superstar was part of the 60's supergroup Buffalo Springfield. His son Ben was born with cerebral palsy, as was his second son Zeke (born with a milder case). This led his involvement with The Bridge School, which serves special-needs children. He was the first artist to record two MTV Unpluggeds. Why? He did not like the quality of the first one. Linear Notes: Other terrific Y- groups: The Young Rascals and The Youngbloods. Sonic Youth and Yoko Ono did not make my favorite artist list. Enjoy the continuing series, comment, check out the trivia answers and see if their your favorites too. And as always, thanks for reading my music post!!! If your stuck and need additional help just let me know in your response. Glad to throw a few more hints your way and aid "your search of that lost chord" or in this case tune. @dgobucks226 I think that if the clue had been that is was a Yes or No answer, I would have gotten it. I have heard of that band but I don't know any of their songs. Did they have any big hits?

@1hopefulman Yes, sorry for the pun. They achieved chart success in the early 70's with songs like "Roundabout," I've Seen All Good People," and "Long Distance Runaround." Being from England they were received with more acclaim over there, but also enjoyed an American following...

I'd rather listen to 50 acorns tied in a sack than the woman mentioned in the title of #1 sing (or whatever they call what she does). So no "Yvette" by Jason Isbell? (Yeah, I know, I'm the only person on here who knows who Jason Isbell is.) Here's Ringo impersonating her:
*headdesk* *headdesk* *headdesk* Ok, I'm an idiot. Apparently I deleted the other one I'd put up. O_O I'm soo sorry to everyone who loved that video and fave...

No Yvette, but I bet someone did a Yolanda song that I wouldn't consider for my post, lol. Do you remember her screeching "Singing" in one of John's concerts? The look on Eric Clapton's face was priceless.
