Happy Independence day! Or should I say Independance because Americans don't know how to spell? I am dyslexic and I can still spell Independence. Come on people! So I did a little drawing with my Choco Ichigo girls! They are looking out on the waters watching fireworks. I want to do more of these little pieces celebrating holidays and such. Just to give the girls more life. I finished this piece yesterday, I did it all in one day and I'm pretty happy about it. For today, my mom and I are not really celebrating. My mom hates fireworks and I did my celebrating listening to Hamilton and drawing this picture. But we are having hamburgers, so 'Merica is still happening in this house! I'm going to go enjoy our turkey burgers and hecking curly fries and think about how our founding fathers are frowning about how America is right now. Byyyiiiess.

I like your drawing. Although we don't see their faces somehow we can feel their exuberance about the festivities. I hope you share their feelings too. As to the state of your Trump-led country, taking a day off to join in the celebration won't make it any worse tomorrow.

Yes! The Revolutionary War which was the US versus England was from 1775 to 1783, on 1776 it was signed by the founding fathers to declare independence but it wasn't accepted by England until the US pretty much forced them to surrender because we were obliterating them.
