Errors on MyLot?

This is the first day I have experienced a lot of errors on MyLot today. Discussions take a long time to load. Sometimes an "Error" page shows up with what appears to be a lot of coding in text. I didn't want to bother admin with it, but I wondered if anyone else has this regularly? What is the cause? Does it resolve? Anyway! I think @owlwings answered it. I have been receiving errors earlier and I think it's working fine now. Never encounter errors anymore.

I got a couple of those coding errors when I first got on myLot this evening. They basically break down to meaning that the site is loading slower than normal. After the first couple, things seem to be working fine now, at least for me.

@FayeHazel Yes... I am confused, Faye... I thought we talked about me owning my own computer store before the downturn? I frequently help people online with computer programming issues. Several people on myLot come to me when they are having issues. I apologize if I am misremembering us talking about this type of thing.

@DaddyEvil Hm, no, I don't think we did. Maybe you were discussing with someone else? Or maybe I forgot, but seeing as that is pretty cool thing - I don't think I would have. But sorry if that is the case. That is kind of you to help. One will never be bored when one knows things about computers. Even just a little bit about computers (like me) or so I find.

I thought it was my computer until I read horse's post about it. It's working good today, though this morning was still slow and error ridden.

@FayeHazel I experienced the slowness of getting into posts and the error page once before here.I never found out what happened then and did not know what happened this time either. It was very frustrating on Friday and when I went back on yesterday it seemed fine again.

The cause is often the speed and quality of one's internet connection but, in this case, I think that there is a problem with the server. If the SysAdmin, @mylotbugs is around, it's usually rectified very quickly but, until then, we shall just have to keep refreshing the page (use F5 or Ctrl+R if you're on a PC) until it loads.

Ah yes, sometimes I need to re-set my own router. I'm sure happy the site is back to it's usual, fast, self. Thanks for the keyboard shortcut. :-)

I have not had really any errors, but sometimes takes a little long for a page to load. Maybe they are doing maintenance. Anyway always much better than Bubblews because I bet most of the time we do not even know when we they are doing maintenance.

Ah good point. I was an old Bubblews user, too. That place was much worse. I guess I'm just spoiled here, lol. Bet you're right. Bet we barely notice if/when they do maintaining on here
