When superpowers are abused

I'm a member of an online support forum for people who have or have had cancer and their family and friends. For reasons that will become apparent, I'm not going to name the site. We've recently had a 'revamp' of the site that was designed to solve lots of past problems with it. Unfortunately the new improved site is far from improved and in the process of doing the so-called upgrade, some dunce gave just about every member the superpowers to edit pages. ho ho ho - believe me, people have been having fun with that. A friend just sent me the following things she spotted which I wanted to share with you: "Can I start my own group? Currently, you can’t start your own group. This prevents people creating duplicate groups which can make it harder for people to find the information they need. If you do fancy becoming the next Little Mix, then perhaps apply to X-factor, or if you want to disappear into obscurity then try The Voice." and: "How do I leave a group? To leave a group, you need to navigate to the Groups home page which contains a list of all the groups, including the one you want to leave. Select the group you wish to leave. You'll see your membership status for that group. If you want to leave the group, simply click on the 'Leave' button. Remember that even if you leave a group, you can still come back for reunion tours when you've blown all of your money on loose cars and fast women(or men)." In each case the first paragraph is the official 'answer' and the rest has been creatively edited. Just shows there's fun to be had even in a cancer forum.

I fear their problem is not enough attention to detail. Schoolboy errors to let something like that happen.

As you know I wouldn't join such a forum even if it were funny.

I think that this is the main problems of sites who allow people to "add their own content", people do not pay attention to the important things.
