Hi there, thanks for your reply. Well, it doesn't have to be the materials in life. Like the first responder answered with family bonding time. If you ask me, I'd say the finer things in life would be feeling at ease with myself and the people I care for and fine dining freestyle. I'm not too fussy, so in a liberal way, I'd suffice with fresh air to breathe and good sceneries to appreciate. Looking at the stars is great too. All so fine.

@ihasaquestion My idea was to introduce yourself in a post, not in a comment only for me. Many members like to learn something about a newbie's background.

@MALUSE Yes, I would like to know everyone here as well. I don't mind introducing myself so that we all can break the ice here.

I stay on an island filled with great coral reefs, amazing landscapes and lush greenery. Oh, how I wish that could be true. I was from Canada but relocated to Asia.

I'm an old user in a new name. I'm used to the comings and goings of myLot and have enjoyed many discussions before too. I find your post kinda weird and cool yet interesting hence I was drawn to it. So, what are the finer things in life for you, pray tell.

@crossbones27 Man....TV kinda imitates life in a flurry way. I can be so too, and the ghetto it gets, the better.

I agree. Bonding time is never a waste of time.

@DaddyEvil It's harder to travel when you always want a restroom handy if needed. Traffic also seems worse than it was 20 years ago. There's also more crime in some cities than there used to be and it seems easier to stay in familiar territory. I can always find pretty scenery here, and there are local places I've still not explored.

Isn't it fun, getting older, Barbara? *shake my head* My daughter and I used to travel across the United States on a whim, going places just to find out how they got their name or to try a restaurant we'd heard was really good. Now, I find I have difficulty driving the 20 miles to work without having a problem of one sort or another.

@ihasaquestion of course, to finish in college will make me very happy, but I have to work and study hard for now. But other than that i like watching movies. Star hazing is really cool, I've tried it with friends.
