His name is Manoj Munot, he is a businessman from Aurangabad, India.
He had a plan to spend about 80 to 90lakhs of Indian Rupees on his daughter’s marriage.
But got inspired by one of the local leaders, he instead of spending that amount to have a lavish marriage, he decided to gift houses to the needy.
He built 90 houses on a 2 acres land and presented to the needy people on occasion of his daughter’s Wedding!
When asked why he did so…he said that a poor man gets food to eat and gets clothes to wear from various sources but it is impossible to have his own shelter in his life, so he has taken this project in his hand to help them.
The daughter is proud of her father! She appreciates him for his generosity and love towards the man kind he has shown!
This is a slap on the face of big Political leaders in India and Business Tycoons who spend from 1000 million to 5000 million Indian Rupees on their wards wedding!
My salutations to this Person for his thought and also his deed!
What do you feel about him? Please comment!
Your responses will be appreciated as usual! Thanks!

Exactly Valerie. You know sugar cane farmers were seeking storage units. Not a big deal in modern times if everybody in this State who has a job donated 20 INR, and those who are tax payers donated 100. And corporate bodies, just a 1000 each. Not a big deal at all. We truly don't need these government bodies for such efforts.

I wish Reliance guys, Chandra Babu Naidu, Amitabh Bachchan (especially Jaya Bachchan), Late Jaya Lalitha, K. Chandra Sekhar Rao, and many of the film stars would follow his footsteps. The lavish weddings that Chandra Babu Naidu and his family have, and KCR's attempts at appeasing gods would all have helped this nation. Low profile...as low profile as possible. That is the mantra. Do not create envy in the eyes of others. Those are curses.

@AKRao24 The saddest part you know ... the poor do not know. Especially those who have lived for lifetime like bonded labor. (We had a BJP lady with two such persons). They believe what their masters are doing is the way they have to do. So the guy thinks he has to spend 25000 INR on his daughter's wedding cards and that is ok, and he borrows that much at exorbitant interest rate, read 3 percent per month. I was appalled that he did that when he came to give us the card. My maid too, took her grand daughter to the same maternity hospital as my neighbor. My neighbor has an Audi, and VW. She can afford to spend 60000 INR. My maid had to borrow for that. Agreed we spared without interest, but she had to repay, right? She could have finished it off in 20000 to 30000 INR. Sad...but they are that innocent, or helpless. Disparity in education and understanding the ins and outs of the society is simply too much. The gap cannot be filled.

Wow. What an excellent thing to do. I agree. Marriage, of course is special, and should be celebrated. But too much excess in celebrating weddings seems greedy and wasteful.
Bless this man and his daughter and her husband.
She is very beautiful - is that the daughter in the photo?

Hi Akrao. I agree. Isnt that what helping is all about? I would have done that instead of pushing thru with the reception in my wedding. It is nice to help.

I have attended a few weddings where the rich just waste their money.
At the same time, they look away from those in need.
This is a lovely and meaningful way to channel resources in the right direction.
Let the rich not live in ivory towers still - siva
