Cockroach Executed in a Mini Electric Chair

A Filipino sculptor got annoyed when the pest flew inside his room. While most people would simply use an insect spray, a rolled up newspaper or a flip-flop sandal to kill the cockroach, he rigged up a miniature chair wired to a battery and light bulb instead. He also video tape the "execution" and posted it on Facebook. It probably started off as a gag or maybe the guy was bored with nothing else better to do. But his creativeness cause a backlash of negative comments against him. However the perpetrator of this dastardly act was unrepentant and swore to impose the same death penalty on any future "illegal migrant" insects who might be thinking of "infesting" his residence.

It took him over two hours to set up the contraption. People would hardly give it a second thought when squishing a cockroach. It is the idea of using an "electric chair" and all the gruesomeness that is associated with it that people find offensive.

I strongly shun such acts! That is too cruel and taking the video and posting it on mass media shows his mental perversion! I am sorry about him and his mental status!

Psychologists believe that children who hurt animals are more likely to turn into serial killers. Not sure about insects.

I'm sure he sanitize his hands first like those who carry out lethal injections on convicts.

Dogs and cats, even a pig (had one once) I understand but how one has empathy with a cockroach is something that's bugging me.

I'm sure I'd just swat it with whatever my hand could reach at the moment or stomp it with my foot.
