Hey everyone, I hope you are doing amazing today! Things are great here. God is so good! =) I didn't get a chance to post about it on the 1st of July but it's been 6 months since Jesus saved me from my cigarette addiction! I don't even feel like I have ever smoked! No desire to go back at all, I don't feel I am missing anything & never did when He took this away from me-it is AMAZING! All of the other times I tried quitting on my OWN it was awful and I couldn't last longer than a week, maybe 2. This time--it's as if I was never a smoker in my life. The Lord is so good!!! In other news it is storming here and I am LOVING it! It is an all around amazing day. Then again, every day is amazing when you are walking it out with Jesus. If only everyone knew this is the path to true happiness... Anyway, how's the weather by you? Anything amazing happen lately? The picture is of my kids & their friend on 4th of July watching fireworks

That's wonderful that you've been smoke-free for so long. I think that you're doing great-keep it up! Is that little Julian on the left hand side of the picture, it doesn't look like him?

@LovingMyBabies yesterday was truly hot but today is a bit better. We got drenching rain. I have an AC I turn on if it gets too hot. I love the photo of your babies.

I am happy things are going so well for you and your family. I am glad you have been able to stop the smoking. It's so much healthier. God is good for sure. you have such a lovely family. It's hot, humid, and overcast here. It hasn't started raining here yet today but it will. The grass and plants are loving it. I have such pretty flowers blooming and showing their appreciation.

It is very hot here. I am so pleased that your addiction was completely removed. Smoking is very hard to beat on your own.

It is hot here now. In the morning it was cool. We watched the fireworks from our front porch.

Good that you are able to quit smoking now. Stay that way to be healthier. I recall Mark Twain's words about how tough it is: "Giving up smoking is the easiest thing in the world. I know because I've done it thousands of times." - siva

@Shiva49 Yes I tried on my own many times through out 15 years and failed. My Father though, He took the addiction away with no problem! It was incredible. All I did was seek Him with all of my heart and mind.

Glad you found the will power to quit smoking. Staying healthy is so important, and with children, you want to be around as long as you can to guide them and remain a factor in their lives. Being a non-smoker is one way to enhance and extend your life so you can enjoy your children as they grow older and achieve their dreams....

@dya80dya Mostly because I have faith and I know how amazing my Father in Heaven is. =) Also, storms make the temps cooler and they are amazing to me.

Congrats for overcoming smoking it's hard to almost every smoker to quit smoking but you did it! We praise the Lord for His amazing grace,,as for here it's very cold we are in winter and ts also raining,,nice photo you have there
