Hello everyone and good Friday evening to you.
I have a 3 day weekend and then I'm going back to work Tuesday. I was supposed to go Monday but I called my surgeon office & they forgot to send the paperwork to me like they said they would a week ago when I called. Oh well I'm ok with more days off!
Vacation was a blast besides the heat. We had 100 degree days while we were there and it was just too hot to do anything. We hardly cooked like we were going to mostly grilled foods. We spent most of the days in the water park then road rides at night when it got cooler.
We couldn't wait to get home to be in the A.C where it's cool. Thursday morning when we checked out my sister, niece and I were the only ones that stayed in the park a few hours, everyone else went home. We rode a few rides and played a couple games. Got home at 2pm Thursday.
Still catching up on sleep, my niece just left at 3pm today. I'm looking forward to the weekend, resting and relaxing with my boyfriend. Today I just plan to watch movies and catch up on my online sites.

@JohnRoberts It's going to be cooler here this weekend, only in the 70's. I'll take that better than 100.

@BelleStarr it was comfortable here all weekend also and now the heat wave is coming back this upcoming weekend and could last for weeks. I hope it doesn't as I can't stand the heat.

It is Friday isn't it. I actually had to ask because with the whole selling the house process that we are going through, I've completely lost track of time. As for our plans... sorting out what we want to take to our new home... which we have yet to find and what we don't need anymore. It's going to be one hectic summer!!

@Hate2Iron yup it is Friday. Sounds like you are busy. My sister has been busy finding a house to live in & has to be out of her apartment the end of this month. Things are not looking good right now, hard to find apartments now a days.

@Courtlynn Yeah I finally got to sleep in until 9am and slept thru the night. I'm still a little tired but hopefully nothing that coffee can't cure.

Nice that you have that time off to relax. I have returned to the US from northern Europe. I am in Daytona Beach Florida so I know what tropics really means. My cat Sid was always cold and do you think he spends time with me by the AC now. No way he is warming himself sleeping in a closet in a room with no AC.

@RasmaSandra yeah it can get cold at night but hot in the day. Atleast today it's cooler only in the 70's which i love. I don't blame your cat, until he gets used to the Florida temps again.

@thislittlepennyearns well this weekend it's going to be cooler, you can atleast go outside and breathe. Gonna be 70's this weekend and not 100 like it has been.
