Still Waiting For the Weather to Change

We have had temperatures in excess of 90 degrees F (32.22 C) for 7 straight days. Today is the day the change is supposed to take place. Right now it is 81 but the humidity has not broken yet and it is oppressive.
It is a grandkids day, we have Jack and his older brother Chris over for the day and overnight. My daughter and her husband are going to Boston and will get the kids tomorrow morning unless they drive me crazy in which case they can be brought home. Alex and Brandon and Josh are at their house so there is plenty of supervision for Jack.
We went out to lunch in Middletown and had a ham grinder. Chris had a stromboli and Jack had chicken tenders. We are getting a little tired of leftovers lol
Right now Jack is practicing magic tricks, I have to close my eyes so he can do the transfers lol He is not very good!! And he cheats!!

You know I do it just for you, but I do understand your frustration with us, we just assume everyone should use F even though most of the world uses C.

@BelleStarr It must indeed be hard to understand that America is not the world. :-(
In fact, you don't do it only for me but for the majority of myLot members.
Fahrenheit is used only in the United States and associated territories (Puerto Rico, Guam and the U.S. Virgin Islands), the Bahamas, Belize, the Cayman Islands and Palau.

@BelleStarr I know that you were very active on Helium. You were an admin person there, weren't you? I don't remember the term which was used on Helium for such people.
I don't know the member you've mentioned. I was there only for a short time. I didn't like the concept of comparing posts and choosing the better one.
Besides, there were too many religious people on the site for my liking.

I had a busy afternoon at work, and now I'm just relaxing and will soon be going to bed, as an early night is what I need tonight.
Our temperature change came thru over night last night, today our windows are open and it only made it up to 24C today-which was a refreshing change. I hope that your change comes soon.

The temperature has dropped but the humidity hasn't which is weird, I am hoping it goes overnight. Have a goodnight sleep I know you have a big day tomorrow

@BelleStarr Thank you. It won't be long......well maybe it will, a new show just came on and it looks good. Oh I hope that I don't cave, I do need to go and get the coffee maker ready for the morning, wash my face and change and go to bed.

Yesterday the humidity was between 73-75 which is horrific, it still feels very heavy but it should be breaking soon.

lol No I don't think he has a future in magic lol. The humidity finally broke overnight and it is cool and sunny today, just lovely.

I love the boys but by 7 p.m. I was ready to drop them off at home lol Even grandma needs a break, Jack chatters nonstop, my ears need a break lol

Sounds like you have a busy Friday night & I hope they were good for you. I had my niece here all week & she was pretty good for me. It's nice to have a quiet weekend without kids though.

Enjoy the kids. Lots ot get used to since I landed in Daytona Beach, Florida. I am taking it easy just working on my laptop for now until I can get used to things around here.

sorry the weather hasn't changed over there.
we went from 80s to 70s. and was really breezy last night and today. even got rain today - finally.
Hope they have a good time in Boston, and that the kids are good so they don't have to leave early.
my Friday was relaxing between sleeping and watching my shows, then washed laundry and dishes and made lasagna for dinner.

Our Friday was ok. Keith had the entire week off last week. By Friday, we were both getting on each other's nerves and I was ready for the weekend to be over so he could go back to work. Thankfully, he went back today!
