What did you have for dinner on this beautiful Saturday evening?

A friend of mine came over this evening, and we "nerded out" and discussed stereo gear and guitars. After he left, I realized I was "starving", and proceeded to make some dinner. I was going to make some Kun Pao Chicken, but realized I was "all Asianed out," so I boiled up some tubular noodles, and made some spaghetti sauce out of Trader Joe's sauce, onion, garlic, salt, pepper, and olive oil. I then added a parmesan/romano mix, and am now experiencing gustatory ecstasy as I write. I love it when a garlic clove "appears" in a particular bite. What did you have for dinner tonight? Was it as satisfying as my pasta delight? I think I have to smoke a cigarette.

Our dinner was sole fillets with roasted potatoes and chocolate mousse for dessert.

Sole fillets? Does the sole have mass? Just kidding. That sounds quite good.

@TheHorse I can cook the sole without take out the fillets and my husband would hate me because he has to remove the sole bone before eating.

Do you eat meat? I'm getting the impression that many Indians do not.

@amitkokiladitya I am not, though I am an animal-lover. What percentage of Indians are vegetarians? I don't know the numbers here, but it's well under 50%. Most people eat meat.

Sounds interesting and good. My supper was a turkey leg with 1 chopped zucchini, 3 stalks of broccoli, and half an onion, cooked together. It was actually better than I expected.

I like both dark and light mean on chickens. But for some reason, I go mostly for light meat when it comes to turkeys.

@TheHorse light meat can be so dry. I prefer dark as it's definitely moist.

@TheHorse I don't mix the food on my plate. I'm weird that way. I eat one item at a time.

I made homemade pork meatballs and then made meatball sandwiches with Italian bread.

@thislittlepennyearns Ah, glad to hear. You've inspired me. I'm "grazing" for breakfast and am going to go cut off a hunk of Swiss cheese.

I had wanted to have Mozzarella cheese for dinner but unfortunately it went stale. That's surprising because I kept it on storage in the fridge. I guess my food's gone cheesy on me. Well, I then went on to grab a healthy sandwich, with lesser calories.

Oh man that must've been some seriously GOOD pasta ! We hit Zuma tonight - so we had a simple picnic dinner with chicken tenders and guacamole - and a bunch of fruits on the side.
