Do you like ice candy?

I was busy watching movies on Netflix entitled National Treasure: Book of Secrets starring Nicholas Cage. When I saw one of my niece hiding in our dining table and looks like she is eating something which wraps in clothes. I was curious and check her. She was smiling at me wickedly. There I find out she was eating ice candy and since it's very cold she wraps it with a cloth. Clever 2 and a half years old. The next thing I know, I was having an ice candy too. I have two flavors. One is Avocado and one is Mango. The photo I grabbed from Google.com

Yeah. I was curious why she was holding a cloth. That's because the ice candy was cold.

@JustBhem my mother did before, and the price of one ice candy was still P1.00. when it had coconut, or ice biko, it was P2.00. now, i do not know how much is one. maybe P10.00?

Do these ice candies contain frozen fruit? If so they are much healthier than the United States' version of the frozen fruit flavored sugar candy called the popsicle.

It's been awhile since I had any ice candy. When I was in the province, our relatives made them to sell in their sari-sari store. Needless to say not only the neighborhood children but adults like me enjoy this cold refreshment especially during summer days. I like those containing buko, mango and pinipig

I like mango. I mean, I like the fruit flavor of mango. I love eating mangoes, I love fruit pops with mango, I love mango nectar and mango flavored just about everything with mango. Have you ever heard of the SNOW CONE? the SNOW CONE is a wonderful shaved ice treat with flavored syrup that makes the snow like shaved ice in a cup, turn colors. My favorite SNOW CONE was watermelon, coconut & banana in a three-flavor large cup of shaved ice SNOW CONE. here is a link about SNOW CONES in the USA. from an online article back in 2012 from Saveur magazine online.
Equally at home at the ballpark, the amusement park, and the sun-scorched summer sidewalk, syrup-doused snow cones are one of our favorite summertime treats. While the paper cups of brightly colored ice serve the single, sacred purpose of cooling us down,

@JustBhem , Cold things to eat on hot days is a win-win for you and for me and those who are living in hot times. It is hot here in Texas, for sure.

Just make your own. You can get molds and popsicle sticks and blend water with fruit and sugar and make all kinds of good flavors. Give it a try. I have even gone as far as to make a cocacola popsicle. If you can freeze it, you can make it. Yum.

@chicnthin , Hmm. Can you save for one? They make mini-freezers, as a freezer, not a refrigerator is what a person needs to make them and to keep them frozen. In any case, be happy and enjoy your day here at myLot!
