Vacuuming

It used to be that I enjoyed doing the vacuum in the house, but now I find it harder and harder to push that central vac.
I had a technician coming to check it the other day and no, it is me being weak. I don't appreciate this feeling at all. It used to be so easy pushing that hose.
Do you notice that vacuuming is getting harder and harder these days or is it the same for you?

I never liked vacuuming but didn't find it too hard. This will be the first time I will do some vacuuming in my apartment in Florida but it is a small place so I don't think it will be a problem.

You could get one of those robot vacuums and drive Sid nuts as he chases it around.

@JohnRoberts You spend more time bending to nurse the stupid robot than vacuuming the traditional way. I sold my stupid vacuum robot.

I still do it easy enough. But that is light work compared to some things I still do.

@marlina I am still handling hay bales and 50 pound feed sacks. With the animals here we both have to keep going.

I did find it harder to push my heavy vacuum so I had to buy a lighter weight one. Gone are the days when I could sip through the house and get everything done

It has been harder for me since I started having problems with my back and my knees, but I am still able to vacuum. My husband helps me with some places like under the bed.

It is harder for me but I think it is because the vacuum I use now is much heavier to push.

@JohnRoberts It is harder when I use the motor for the carpet, if I use the brush for the floors, I am okay.

Thank goodness for hardwood floors. The only time i use a vacuum is when i vacuum furniture out. lol
