Tonight For Dinner We Have... / myLot

Now that we have finished eating our leftovers we will be back to cooking once more. So, tonight's dinner will be a pork roast, gravy, mashed potatoes and a salad. Never fear, I will be cooking the easy way. I have taken out my slow cooker and have a pork roast nicely cooking away in it. I will make gravy tonight with the drippings in the crock pot. The mashed potatoes are easy enough to fix and the salad is already waiting patiently for dinner time. We are have another couple over for dinner and I want to have a nice dinner but am feeling a little tired. I don't want to be in the kitchen all day cooking and wearing myself out. So I am cooking the easy way so I can be alert when our guests are here. By the way, dessert tonight will be a mixed berry pie with vanilla ice cream. Did I do this the easy way also? You bet I did. My hubby is at the store buying the pie and ice cream even as we speak. What's for dinner in your house? How is everyone doing out there today?

When the days are so hot both my husband and I do not really like to eat. I have cold meats for dinner most of the time, with a mixed green salad and fruits.

We cook even when we dont want to, ugh lol. Tonight is probably spaghetti sandwiches and meatballs.

@HazySue yeah we don't do leftovers, and even if I don't want to cook, I do. or that's when we get food from out.

Sounds like a very good supper. I'm up in the air about what to make. I don't want to cook, but if I don't eat soon, I will be very hungry. I'm only hungry at the moment.
