Am cleaning my inbox today

Filter emails

Since I am at home today I have decided to clear my inbox today. Have targeted the folder where mylot notifications are. So dont be surprised if you get replies to some of your old comments to my discussions. The last I cleared this folder was in December. There are about 500 unread mails of mylot in this folder. So I expect to have a busy day today. Do you also filter your emails?

I have turned off the options to receive myLot notifications by email.

I prefer keeping the notifications on so that whenever I get the time I just read the notifications and reply to those whom I want to.

@LadyDuck Very rarely do I get more than 50 notifications in a day. Would not have been able to handle more than that I think.

@mayka123 I clear my notifications every day and I have about 120/150 notifications every day. Can you imagine how many email I should receive. It would be a mess.

I filter my email too. Once the emails reached more than 1000 and i was forced to clean it up

I have nearly 4000 unread emails in my inbox out of which about 500 may be from mylot.

I do not like piling up too many emails in my inbox so I do try and clear them off whenever I can.

Same here. I dont know where all the mails are coming from. Other than mylot I have too many other mails that I have to figure out.

Yes sometimes.. When it is filled with junk and spams, it becomes difficult to find the important mails.

I check my junk and spams regularly because they get deleted after some time. The rest are piling up.

Because of a full time job I do not get a chance to check my personal inbox everyday so the unread emails keep piling.
