We went to the annual airshow here for my son's birthday on the weekend and I so amazed at the skill of those pilots.
The last time I was at an airshow was when my kids were quite young and it was held in the city where I live. It moved out of town several years.
It was a sweltering hot day but very windy so with lots of hydration and a few umbrellas we camped out on the airport grounds to watch the show. The skydivers were great as were the other aerobatic pilots but the highlight would have to be the world renowned Canadian Snowbirds shown in the photo.
An abundance of food trucks, a market, a display of aircraft and military equipment made for an exciting day. I was happy that the show ended without any accidents. How was your weekend?

I love air shows. I love to just sit on my porch and watch the planes fly high in the sky. It is so amazing the things they can do with their airplanes.

We have some planes fly over our house too, Yes I am amazed at the skill that is on display at these shows.

Sounds like you had a fun weekend. I am always amazed at those airshows and have seen a few.
My weekend was quiet but I'm happy with that. Weather was perfect

i like watching those fighter planes showing the abilities to bring out colorful smoke, and how they glide and nearly crash each other. it is awesome. i too, get sad when i learn about disasters like crashing of planes.
