More adventure than I cared to have...

I was at work, and it was near time to leave, when, just like when I was sitting here at the computer, I got a horrible pain across my stomach, my hands went numb, and this time I started sweating profusely. I was in pain for a few minutes, then it seemed to subside. When I left work, my boss' mom (who had offered to drive me home) offered to take me to the emergency room. So, I took her up on it. Because, of course, I wasn't as "urgent" as the other cases, I waited a few hours to be done. They did an EKG on me and another ultrasound, and at the end of all the hours the doctor came back and said that I had gallstones, and the best thing would be to have my gall bladder removed. Ah, joy. So he said I needed to make an appointment with my primary care doctor over at the Petaluma Health center. I came home on a Lyft, and when I got home, there was a phone call saying that I had had an appointment with said primary care doctor today that I missed, and that I needed to reschedule. Well, at least I didn't miss it just because "I forgot".
