What she has is frankly ridiculous. Her nails look like ribbon trails and she could take on Freddy Kruger, Edward Scissorhands and Wolverine with them. I can't imagine her opening doors, shaking hands, turning book pages, etc. Her nails look impressive but utterly impractical. Also my nails get dirty really easily, so how on Earth does she cope? @LadyDuck it is a pretty dumb thing to do, especially as it takes so many years to grow them like that

@arthurchappell She surely cannot do any kind of work with those nails. I see no interest in something like this.

I saw a woman on Guinness Book Of World Records once with rolled up nails, they were so long. Mine get long and I have to clip them a bit so I can type. Not like those though.

@celticeagle it is a task to perform in private - clipping toe nails at the dinner party in company is generally frowned upon lol

@Marilynda1225 if she cut them off and kept them she would still have them there to talk about and show off to people

@JudyEv yes, they probably serve as a great excuse to be lazy - can't do that, it might hurt my nails.

@db20747 toenails that long would be worse. You couldn't get shoes on and you'd be tripping up a lot

I am wondering how anyone could live like that. Those nails must make things very complicated. I couldn't live with that. I would get rid of them immediately.

I have no problems with my fingernails, unfortunately, they never grow very long before they tend to break so I always have to keep them clipped. The biggest problems I have are with my toenails.
