A 70 year old woman is lucky to be alive after her auto was underwater in a canal in Mesa Arizona two days ago. Due to a severe monsoon that flooded Mesa Arizona recently. The 71 year old woman managed to stay alive inside her auto due to an air pocket inside that she was able to breathe. The Mesa Fire And Medical unit were able to get the auto out of the canal by prying the doors open and grabbing her out of her auto with minor injuries. Eyewitness who recorded the rescue on their cell phone stated that the driver was saved by a "miracle."

Certainly was a miracle. Glad the woman is alright. There was another rescue at Thailand of a soccer team trapped in a flooded cave.
The Wild Boars soccer team are now safe and recovering in a Thai hospital. As the world celebrates their return, details of the incredible rescue effort have emerged.

@Deepizzaguy Me too. So very relieved they're all safe. No Japan is going through flooding and landslides.

I wonder if she would have made had she been younger. Experience and years of hearing such tales may have helped.

@celticeagle My error. The driver was in her 50s not 70s.

Her age and knowledge did help her survive the auto accident.

That is true since the driver of the auto that was underwater was lucky to have an air pocket to breathe underwater.

That is what I was thinking that her Guardian Angel came in the form of the firefighters.
