Saturdays should be the masters of science in teaching classes of my son in a university here, so he went to the city, but after an hour, he came back and said their classes will start on July 21st. So he requested me to drive him to school because he forgot his plastic envelop where he keeps his record logbook and some other papers needed for his class in senior high school.
“Ma, can you drive me? I am tired”, was what he asked. I agreed, “but first, let me comb my hair”, I told him. So, I drove.
Not even lipstick or loose powder was applied on my face. I just had a quick wash-up when I went to the comfort room upon waking up. I think I was confident with how I looked.
“I woke up like this”--- was my statement this morning. A face sans makeup, loose powder, or lipstick, but with the pair of specs in my eyes; just a mother who willingly gave in to the request of her only son to drive him to school.
Are you confident with your “I woke up like this” look? I am.

I think I often leave the house with my "I woke up like this" look, with the exception of my hair getting pulled up into a bun. Sometimes I care and will actually put on a little makeup.

hija, your picture, if i see you just awake, is the same. you are pretty, and isn't it there is a saying that when you want to see the real beauty of a lady, see her when she wakes up? you are like that, hija.

Ha ha, I never make up at home. When I go out, if I have enough time, I just, uh, put some lotion on. No lipstick, no powder.

my face or skin is not dry or oily, but i want to put loose powder because the powder can act as protection from dust.

I can't go out in the house without fixing my eyebrows and a little tint applied on my lips.. so i guess i am not confident with my "i woke up like this" look. lol

i also darken my brows when i go out, but if only in the store adjacent to our house, i have that "i woke up like this " appearance.

I woke up like this... ha ha.. When I was still single I care about my looks. Nowadays, i don't care anymore. Like I woke up like this all the time...

you are a male, so i don't think you should be vain, right? my son too, sometimes when he wakes up, he forgets to comb his hair so he looks like a Simpson-hair is standing.

for me, i just darken my eyebrows and a little of loose powder and faint lipstick when i go to the city for some errands. i even wear shorts but knee=length only, and tee shirt. but when i am home, i am without makeup.

Not confident, maybe more on, I don't care how I look like. Hihihi I go out without lipstick or make up. Sometimes I just put on some loose powder. When I stay at home, I don't even comb my hair. Sometimes it takes 3 to 4 days that I don't... But of course, I do take a bath several times a day.

me too, hija. if i am at home, i comb my hair twice only--upon waking yp, and after my bath. i use the wide-toothed comb.

hahaha. that was me also this morning. i told my son that i won't go out of the car. i stayed in the driver's seat, even when he bought some dimsum for the 3 of us, i stayed seated in the car.
