I am so sorry because I believe almost all of my discussions pertain to my son; I am just as excited as he is because on Monday he will start his job as a Philosophy instructor for senior high school students in the school where I am employed for nearly 14 years now. This afternoon, just before the heavy rains fell, my son asked permission to go to the city to buy a Philosophy book and a pair of black shoes. He wears the brown suede shoes but he says it is heavy and it is not black. I suggested to go with him but he declined. So, before it rained heavily at 3PM, he left. Several minutes ago, he arrived. He proudly showed me the book he bought (I wrote his name with a permanent marker because it might get lost in school), and the pair of black shoes which he bought from the super mall, where there is a 3-day sales in some items. He said the shoes fit him well. I checked the soles and it is fine. He bought it for less than a thousand pesos, and I think there is a 50% discount of the price. My son is slowly becoming more independent now. But he requested me to buy him a pair of black pants tomorrow when we attend mass. I know his waist measurement anyway so I will just ask PhP500 from him. My son is 26 years old. But he is the love of my life. I wish he will stay long in his work as an instructor.

I think he will, Kabsat. Is he going to teach Philo 101?

@ridingbet Hehehe I think Philio 101 in the first year of university. I think we don't have Philo in high school. Perhaps this is a religion class.

Yes I am wishing him all the luck in the world. He had a tutoring load in Ahead before and this is his first time to teach in a classroom with 27 students. I am certain he has the confidence to speak in front of an audience because he received a very good evaluation when he had the teaching demonstration with his co-teachers as the evaluators.

I remember I almost failed my Philosophy subject when I was in college. Actually, almost all of us. I think the instructor was not so effective in teaching the subject. But he's so handsome. Hihihi Good luck to your son!

my son is simple looking, but yesterday when he bought the box of siopao from Chow King, he was smiling when he narrated that a female crew (cashier) was smiling at him, to which I told him, maybe she has a crush on you. hahaha! but i know my son is as strict as me but i told him to be lenient to his students since they are senior high school (equivalent to 2nd year college, am i right, hija?)

@brokenbee hahaha. you know hija when he was interviewed by the acting vice president for academic affairs, she said my son might be the subject of admiration and infatuation of his students, to which i agreed when my son narrated to me. but don't you notice in his pictures in my Facebook wall? he seldom smiles. Children are always the most important to us. I am the same with you. Every time I talk about something, it always involves my daughter. I hope everything goes well with your son in his teaching post.

Thanks. Teaching is the noblest profession and I hope he will totally embrace it. He still has his online content writing and he told me yesterday that he is paid P7k for some articles he submitted.

hahaha. no, he is not yet a professor, but an instructor. he is about to finish his masters of science in teaching degree so that makes him an instructor. here, when a professional gets a doctorate degree, he is already considered a professor.
