Sitting By The Stream

As I was wandering through the images on Pixabay I came across this one. I would love to be there sitting next to the stream reading a book and having the babble of water flowing past me. What a peaceful scene that would be.
I would love to be there but I certainly would not sit on the rocks. Wow, that would be much to uncomfortable for me. I would need a bench or a chair of some kind. These old bones couldn't take those rocks. Besides I would never be able to get back up again.
Wouldn't it be nice to be there peacefully reading or communing with Mother Nature. That would be the perfect spot.
Oh well, I will do the best I can with what I have to work with. At least I have air conditioning.

I was just thinking that while the image was peaceful, I don't see how she is able to sit comfortably on the rocks. Of course, I think this photo was probably taken purposefully. I doubt she remained on those rocks after the photo was taken.
There is a nice little area in my neighborhood. It has a pretty creek and a beautiful place to walk and relax. It also connects my neighborhood to another and both neighorborhoods to the road where the mall is.

There was a time when I would sit for hours beside a river or stream and soak my feet on a hot summer's day.
The thought of that woman sitting on rocks kills my behind! I would be lame as heck if I were to try it today. LOL. You and I are the same I guess when it comes to that one.
I just turned on the AC in our living room. It was getting a big muggy in here. Going to leave in a couple of hours to go to a graduation party for my husband's twin cousins. Then heading north to visit his aunt and uncle for a couple of hours. Maybe take in a movie at the drive-in when we get back.

I couldn't sit on rocks either plus I'd have to have long sleeves on, I'd be lunch for every mosquito out there. I also wouldn't be reading, I'd probably be walking up and down the sides of that stream maybe chasing Ally as I did so.
They always make it look so sublime
