New crockpot

Last Friday before my cousin left to go back to New York, she brought me a new crockpot at Walmart. Though the base had been stained, she believed the lid had been melted. Well, though the screw to the handle keeps coming off, I did manage to screw it back on. And though my cord had electrical tape covering two spots from this spring, it still worked for me without any new problems. Nothing burned or overheated in my opinion. So I last week I said goodbye to my 1.5 quart Cook's slow cooker that Ih ad for 1.5 years, and upgraded to a 2 -quart Crockpot trade marked slow cooker. I'll be trying it out tomorrow to kickstart my slow cooker recipes this month. I hope to take better care of it and let it last enough.
