A Bad Part of My Saturday

As I was mentioning in my previous post, Im so happy seeing my dog again and got time to visit places that I missed.
Last night, while Im trying to stop my doggie and 1 dog from neighbor with their fight, I was bitten by neighbor's dog, though its just a slight bite I still went to the hospital and got 3 shots - 1 anti rabies and 2 anti tetanus.
So that's how my saturday ended.

Actually same question in my mind today and the rest of people that night, why I went near to the 2 dogs while fighting. I never thought of my safety that time, what I was trying to save is the neighbor's dog because she's so small, she can't survived fighting with my doggie , my dog is so big and I'm just worried that the small dog might die. I'm okay, just a slight bite but the effect of the 3 shots is not so good, I feel like having a heavy arms. 2 more shots to go..

You should at least get your dog out of the heated fight, or shoo them.
I know dogs will stop fighting if you shoo them or at least hit your dog with something.
It is not right to you know to get in the middle of a fight, just like doing it with people too.
Anyway, as long as you already have the shot, you'll be okay.

You did the right thing. Sorry about that. Hope you are not having any pain from that bite. Quite an ordeal for you I'm sure.

i hope the dog that bit you has already been vaccinated against rabies. i injected myself too with tetanus anti-toxin because our dogs are vaccinated with anti-rabies. the injection was to protect me from tetanus.

Yes. I told them not to allow neighbor's pet near my doggie to avoid same scenario
