Today, you win. Tomorrow you might again. But in the end, I think I might be winning. Because I am still here. Regardless of what you make me think or feel. I’m still here. Sure, I could give up and let you win completely. I could listen to you about how I’m worthless, a waste of space and how no one will ever love me. But is that really the truth? Or is that what has been imprinted on me through friends and family that really aren’t the best people to be around?? So, I guess that’s why I keep to myself. That may be a loss to some people but for me, I call that a win. No one can hurt me or belittle me. I keep my circle small but even my small circle don’t know the real me. They don’t know my demons. They don’t know my thoughts. I keep it all inside. Except for here. This is the only place I feel is safe enough to bare my soul. But why is that? Is it because I am amongst strangers? Or is it that I can post whatever I want and get honest feedback? Maybe even get some advice. I guess this post is really about saying thank you to myLot and each and everyone of you that reads any of my posts and sometimes replies. I am thankful to have this outlet to be able to express myself. If I didn’t, I honestly don’t know where I would be. But for today, the demons may have won but in the end, I’m the victor. Cuz I’m still here.
