“pleaseSHARE.”

Suddenly, I recalled a user whose account was banned from this site because apparently, the user violated some of the guidelines and rules. This user has been here with several accounts because the admin may have been lenient in letting him/her back in, hoping the user will not repeat the same mistakes again. The latest account was good. It actually had many discussions, about a thousand, and the interactions of the user was about to reach mine. I noticed the user did many discussions in a day and these were liked and commented on by other users. What I noticed too was, at the end of the discussion, the user almost always says this statement, and it often gets positive responses. Is “please share” an enigmatic phrase that brings many users to like and comment on the user’s discussions? Have you tried using this “please share” in your own discussions?

I have never used this phrase and never will and I don't react if I find it at the end of a post. MyLot is about sharing, so it isn't necessary to mention it all the time.

i agree with you. we can share our thoughts about the discussion so i think it should not be repeated in every discussion made by this banned user, who i knew got paid about triple the minimum payout every pay day.

No. I have never used such phrase. That might be a good idea. I think I know who is that person. I didn't know he violated rules.

i think it is good also, but i don't know if it violates a rule in this site because it is apparent that you want others to comment on your discussions. i don't know if it is a violation, but maybe we can ask from @GoAskAlex about this. really, you know who this user is?

@ridingbet "you want others to comment on your discussions." This is what myLot is based on. Why mention it all the time? I find it annoying and off-putting.

Every one does have a different type of approach to a subject and concluding it in a discussion! And that was his style....but I really don't think , just by asking to share people will get tempted and respond back and he used to make money because of that! he had different technique to get more responses!

@ridingbet , I really don't think he could have banned for using that phrase...because the admin would have removed his discussions before banning him and warned him, which normally happens here! His posts were allowed and he used to fetch good responses and also used to make money from here which was paid by admin, that means , the use of the phrase is very well permitted or accepted on this site! It looks like he used to make personal messages to the members asking to participate in his discussions and also asking them to respond more than once, in return he would promise to do the same thing for them. This is a purely a spamming and that is why I think he must have got banned. That is what I feel about him! may be there is something more to it for that action which is beyond my knowledge! Thanks!

@AKRao24 i know. those private messages that the user sent to some members here might have given the reason of the admin to finally ban the user in this site. it is just a discussion here as to whether anybody here puts the "please share" at the last part of the discussion because it certainly makes a user comment and therefore adds to the author, and the commenter, of their banks. but indirectly, adding that please share, please add comments,or something like those, WERE VIOLATIONS IN THE DEFUNCT BUBBLEWS so no worries if you are not the same as this user. thanks

were you part of the defunct bubblews? that style was not allowed and it was considered a very serious violation. didn't you think that maybe this banned user had quadrupled his bank because of that phrase of "please share"? my own thoughts. thank you. what can you therefore say about a discussion of joliet jake about how one user asked another to comment twice to his discussion?

oh, so you know this user. maybe that is why the user whom he sent a message of responding twice, caused this user to report to the admin, or to a famous mylotter here.

I never used this phrase as being on myLot means you are sharing with others. You don't have to specify it. I have also not come across any discussion with that phrase as far as I know.

yes, but maybe the user wanted many other members to read, like and comment to his discussions.until such time that one member reported the attitude of this user to (maybe) the admin.

"Please share" can even be considered against the guidelines, it is not a phrase I would ever use.

yes, it should be because it is spamming the site. but i think it is used by others and the admin may not think of it as a violation.

I have never done it maybe because I am relatively new here. Regarding having many accounts, can a househoulf have more than one account?

i believe it can be as long as the users have different PayPal accounts. or maybe there is a new policy regarding multiple accounts in a single household.
